I spent quite some years traveling the world from my birthplace to the Americas, Africa and ultimately the Far East before spending over two decades in video game design. I then decided to run headlong into photography in late 2023. So yes, I admit I am a newcomer to the art world with all that entails.

With inspiration from my fellow Dutchman Erwin Olaf and from my time in digital production and 3D rendering I learned that light and shadows are key. In seconds, I could move lights around, change color, ambient lighting and contrast. Instantly change how skin looks. This is something photographers could only dream of.

Lighting and shadows define visual impact.

I use my own distinctive, almost extreme lighting model which I think is visually stunning and unique. It makes an image look deep, immersive and compelling, creating a portrait photography style I haven't seen before.

Once framed, my photos are close to 6 feet or 2 meters high. They grab then hold your attention and will transform a room.

I can look at the model's eyes, skin, makeup and expression a thousand times over and still find something new to discover.

And if my art does that for you, I have achieved my goal.
